The photos below are taken in anchorage area in Port Hedland. While we are in anchorage area, waiting for the berthing schedule to load iron ore I saw this huge whale. I don't know what breed or kind of whale is this but seeing a whale up close is just fascinating maybe because it's my first time to see in real life. One time there is something happen that shocked all of us. We we're watching the family of whales go around our ship that moment I am thinking that they are hunting foods. One of the A.B. is hauling his nylon he thinking that he caught a fish. He didn't realize the whales are chasing that fish. After that incident the whales went beside in our ship that's why we are able to get this photos. The whales are just there as if there are waiting for something. The A.B. once again throw his fishing tool but we are shocked when the whale also jumps causing the nylon to be cut off. We all just laugh at that moment the whales must be angry because they prey got stolen by our A.B. If you notice in the last photo the little whale seems to be looking at us maybe that time they have a plan.

Our ship was en-route to Port Kembla carrying iron ore from Port Hedland, Australia. It takes 15 days to reach Port Kembla aboard a ship. We are delivering iron ore from Port Hedland to Port Kembla. I was excited to Port Kembla because they say that place is a city I can buy anything I want. When we began the sea passage winter season is near the sea's are rough and confused causing our ship to roll/pitch and heave continuously. I didn't feel good of what's happening I get dizzy and there are times you want to puke. Sometimes when the visibility is clear I saw a group of whales besides our ship. They say whales/dolphins likes to play with ships. They are trying to outrun the ships.
3 days before we arrive at Port Kembla my Seniors Officers and I saw our ship travelling inside the rainbow. That moment was my first time to see a Rainbow that close. When I saw this Rainbow ahead of us I am amaze. We are joking that we might be in other dimension or take the treasure chests in the rainbow once we passed inside. I takes about half an hour before it fades. I made a research how rainbow forms, the Wikipedia says "phenomenon that is caused by reflection of light in water droplets in the Earth's atmosphere, resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky". I am hoping to see more magnificent events to happen.
